Rabbit 06:08
where our nature resides deep within our human minds there's an ancient spark of the instinct that once kept us alive from the day that we met, you knew that we'd have to work to survive now that you've opened your eyes our worlds will finally collide run like a rabbit across your feline brain there's nothing left between us but the roads, the fields, and the train if i really knew the reason then we wouldn't feel this pain so run like a rabbit across your feline brain four pistons inside four tires to smooth the ride there's a fire that keeps us warm and keeps the movements in time before we mount the barriers and go flying through the sky open the passenger door and bail and you just might survive run like an engine while the fuel still fans the flame there's nothing left between us but the roads, the fields, and the train if i really knew the reason then we wouldn't feel this pain so run like an engine while the fuel still fans the flame i'll be the cat that hunts you as i siphon out your fuel i cannot be without you this is my warning to you watch me destroy our lives the anger is a tempting side i make my choices in the moment, and don't care about why you can try to weather the impact, but i don't think you'll survive the only thing left you can do now is run for your life run like a songbird as the clouds pour with rain run like a convict whose sentence won't be changed run like a reject too shamed to try again run like a weapon with precise and deadly aim run like you're living because you want to stay that way run like a rabbit across your feline brain run like an engine while the fuel still fans the flame run like you're living because i don't care if i stay there's nothing left between us but the roads, the fields, and the train if i really knew the reason then we wouldn't feel this pain so run like a rabbit because the chance won't come again

Freedom 03:53
freedom, freedom to wear and freedom to stare help can't help what you wear just look at your hair freedoms keep us alive they help us to be a full post-rationalism science fair how can i keep a light in the darkness how can i fight the crumbling inside me how can i be the one you think is special how can i fight when all i knew is wasted sleep come over me i'll tell you what i'll be and nothing else can come between us how can i be the same as you see when i have nothing left between us freedom's freedom to hear and freedom to care you can't see what you scream or know what it means how can i keep a light in the darkness how can i fight the law that's insides us how can i keep a garden up around us how can i fight you and all your mothers we could be so much together between our time, between your eyes sink into me deeply baby let me keep what we know what's right sleep come over me i'll tell you what i'll be and nothing else can come between us how can i be the same as you see when i have nothing left between us

time is an illusion that makes things make sense so we are always living in the present tense it seems unforgiving when a good thing ends but you and i will always be back then singing: will happen, happening, happened will happen, happening, happened and we will happen again and again because you and i will always be back then singing: will happen, happening, happened will happen, happening, happened and we will happen again and again because you and i will always be back then time is an illusion that makes things make sense so we are always living in the present tense it seems unforgiving when a good thing ends but you and i will always be back then singing: will happen, happening, happened will happen, happening, happened and we will happen again and again because you and i will always be back then if there was some amazing force outside of time to take us back to where we were and hang each moment up like pictures on the wall inside a billion tiny frames so we could see it all it would look like: will happen, happening, happened will happen, happening, happened and we will happen again and again because you and i will always be back then singing will happen, happening, happened will happen, happening, happened and we will happen again and again you and i will always be back then you and i will always be back then you and i will always be back then that's why you and i will always be best friends

about

didn't want to go an entire year and release nothing, so here is a meager offering.
it's been a very long and very hard year, maybe the worst of my entire life. so, because of that, i tried to make this fun in a way. three of the tracks are covers from the soundtrack to a pokémon game; one is a cover of the song from the adventure time finale; one was written as a joke; one was written the first time i got (way too) high; one is a straightforward, sincere offering.
i have been refining my production skills, hopefully you'd be able to tell.
